Yeaaaaaa it's so freakin rainy out. I'm actually WORKING tomorrow at Robinson. Scary I know. It's going to be weird not going to Peter Muschal. I'll be there Tuesday to fill out my paper work to sub and stuff and drop off the thank you's, and maybe I'll stop in Friday. I won't be a stranger! Yea...off to do more of nothing!

Last night was fun. Today I did some Christmas shopping and went to see The Princess and the Frog with Sreya...it was really cute! I miss Disney animation sometimes! Then I went to Target! I made out the thank you's for the kids...hopefully I'll drop them off Tuesday, or Friday if I decide to go to their program. If I don't work I definitely will. Okay, off to relax! Later!

Tomorrow is my last day student teaching...I have to say goodbye to the children I've been with every day since September. I never thought I'd grow so close to them...but I have. It's so hard to believe that I won't be there next week...I'm so used to going every day, and doing the same routines, and being with the same 21 kids. I'm REALLY going to miss them...it was probably one of the best experiences of my life. I got to see first hand what it's like to be a teacher. I learned so much that I can't possibly write it all down here, or explain it in words. If I could stay all year, I would do it in a heartbeat. But I can't. Tomorrow is going to be so bittersweet! I don't even think some of them know I'm leaving...I just can't believe it went by so fast.

Sooo I only have two more days left of student teaching! Ahhh sooooooooo sad. I've seriously been tearing every day this week. I grew attached to these kids the first week of school. I've never been attached to a group of kids like I have grown attached to them. and I'm going to miss them SO much. Going back to subbing after 4 months of being in the same class is going to be a drag. I just want to have a class of my own. In due time I guess. Well, I'm off to relax!

We're getting the Optimum triple play next Tuesday. My dad and I have had it up to here (picture us holding our hands up to our chins) with Verizon and their service. They were supposed to come out today, but never showed up. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Now my internet was working fine and dandy this morning, then all of a sudden my USB router decides it doesn't feel like working anymore. Meh. Hopefully this service will work a lot better. I'm off to look at math books. Later all.

I finally have a working printer now! It's a scanner/printer/copier all in one, and I can plug in my memory card from my camera to print photos! Yay! I can't believe this is my last week of student teaching! The four months went by so fast, it's going to be so hard leaving the kids! Off to relax, later!

Today was very interesting in school. When I first came inside the school had no power because of the storm. I thought the kids were going to go crazy. Thankfully it was restored about 9am, when the kids walked in. I can't believe I only have a week left with them. I'm going to miss them SO much. :( It was really warm outside today, I loved it! Well...off to grade math tests!

Coming back to full days after 5 half days and 4 days off is really hard. I finished my Diwali powerpoint, hopefully he'll like it. I didn't know anything about the holiday until I starting doing research. I can't believe I have not even two weeks left of student teaching! It/November flew by! Anyway, off to relax! Later all!

Boo hiss. This long weekend is already over. We haven't had full days in so long, I've almost forgotten what they're like. I can't wait until the 11th-Karen, Ian, and I and maybe some other people are going out to celebrate the end of my student teaching. I'm going to be sad to end it, but I mean I worked so hard throughout the whole semester I have to do SOMETHING to celebrate! Okay, well back to work! Later!
